The “Almaty” project was completed in 2021. It features a modern smart sauna, constructed entirely from Canadian cedar, a premium natural material known for its durability, moisture resistance, and therapeutic properties. The walls, floor, and ceiling are all made of cedar, filling the space with a rich, natural aroma and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
For an enhanced wellness experience, Himalayan salt has been integrated into the interior. This natural element enriches the air with beneficial minerals, promoting relaxation and improving respiratory health.
A key highlight of this sauna is the designer Huum stove, equipped with a smart control system. Connected to the internet, it allows remote control of air temperature, water and steam supply, aroma selection, ventilation, lighting, and door status monitoring – all accessible directly from a smartphone.
The project was designed with minimal energy consumption and maximum heat retention in mind. Thanks to the smart control system, energy resources can be used efficiently, allowing users to preheat the sauna only when needed, preventing excessive energy use and minimizing heat loss.
